  • The Target Group

  • Target population in the project area was selected on the basis on the following criteria:
         • High Level of Poverty
         • Mostly Tribal Community
         • High level of dependency on shifting cultivation
         • High forest cover
         • Degraded forest environment
         • Inaccessibility
         • Poor reach of Govt. service (health, education etc)
         • Lack of infrastructure (roads, electricity, drinking water etc) 

  • The Target Area

    The project is being implemented in 100 villages in Dhalai and North Tripura district covering 5(Ambassa, Salema, Dumburnagar, Manu & Chawmanu) blocks and 3 (Dasda, Damcheera & Jampui Hills) blocks respectively.
